A+ Fire & Security Ltd. is a Canadian family owned and operated business based out of London, Ontario specializing in the design, installation, and service of fire alarm, sprinkler, security / CCTV, nurse call and access control systems.
April Pritchard and I incorporated the company on August 16, 2004. I am an Electronic Engineering Technician Graduate and have specialized in the fire alarm/security industry for over twenty years. April is a Fire Alarm Technician with over ten years experience. Over this time period April and I have designed, serviced, and sold a large range of products to a wide range of clients.
Over the years we have seen clients mistreated and unqualified technicians without company support. We feel that by starting A+ Fire & Security Ltd. we can actually do something about the things that bother us, not just complain.
We have been putting what we call the perfect team together to assure clients are not mistreated. We started the company with two certified fire alarm technicians, with over fifteen years combined experience, offering service and parts at reasonable prices. In late 2006, Joel Holman was a key addition to our team. Joel who with over fifteen years of customer service experience, is a certified Sprinkler Fitter and brings over ten years of sprinkler experience with an additional two years plumbing experience to the company. We were proud to introduce Joel as the manager of our sprinkler division in late 2006. Feeling that we had a well trained, experienced, and professional team to build from, we have continued to add key personnel.
We are proud to announce that as of July 2011 A+ Fire & Security Ltd. is an authorized Vigilant Dealer and an authorized TruVision Dealer. Since November 2005 A+ Fire & Security Ltd. has been an authorized Mircom Distributor and we are also now a proud member of Local Union 853 Sprinkler Fitters of Ontario.
We have always believed that customers receive better service when technicians are less stressed. Unqualified technicians are stressed. To relieve the stress A+ Fire & Security Ltd. is committed to technician training on products we service. Since incorporation we have provided training on Vigilant Fire Alarm, TruVision CCTV, Kantech access control, on CDV access control, on Mircom FX2000 & QX5000, and on Mircom Fire Link, on suppression systems, on kitchen hood systems, and fire extinguishers. Our goal is to build from the perfect team and have twenty offices strategically placed throughout Ontario within the next five years that offer the same customer service at reasonable rates by extremely qualified personnel.
